Builder Appointed for Merrifield West Primary School

We’re pleased to say that just this week James Merlino, the Minister for Education, announced that Kane Constructions Pty Ltd has been appointed to build the Merrifield West Primary School!

Design work of this state-of-the-art school is well underway, anticipating that construction will commence in approximately 6 months targeting completion in time for term 1 in 2021.

As Merrifield continues to grow, we remain committed to delivering and advocating for more first-class education, shopping, and recreation and community facilities and we hope to share more exciting milestones with you very soon.

Merrifield Panthers Sporting Association

Merrifield Panthers Sporting Association (MPSA) was established in 2018 as the umbrella organisation for a range of sports in Merrifield. Founded by a group of local parents, MPSA works alongside community members to form and incorporate sporting clubs and will be the lead tenant of the Council sporting pavilion that will be located as part of the Active Open Space soon to be developed on Blackmore Rd.

MPSA currently has basketball teams that participate on the Craigieburn Junior Domestic basketball competition, and also runs the local Auskick Program.
