In 2018, our Merrifield Community Partnerships Program funded a Merrifield Auskick program, which was the launchpad for the Merrifield Panthers Sporting Association. We have since been proud supporters and helped provide opportunities for the local community to participate in basketball, football, cricket and tennis. With even more sports on the horizon, the association has seen amazing growth over the past 6 years, having now established a strong presence in the Craigieburn Junior Domestic Basketball competition, expanded its Auskick program and more recently debuted the Merrifield Panthers Football Club in the Essendon District Football League.

Belmore Park Now Open

We are thrilled to announce the opening of the 6th park in Merrifield!

🛵🛹 Located on the corner of Belmore Parade and St Georges Boulevard, Belmore Park includes a scooter track and skate mounds (perfect for kids to develop their confidence and practice their skills), a basketball hoop, grandstand seating, play equipment for the younger kids… as well as plenty of kick-about space and a picnic shelter!

🧱🧱 Don’t forget to check out our community art paver project! Over 110 Merrifield residents have installed personalised pavers placed at the entry of Belmore Park, leaving their everlasting mark on the community and to help celebrate Merrifield’s 10-year anniversary.

🌳🌳 Belmore Park forms part of the 120+ hectare network of green open space planned at Merrifield, where every home is within a 5-minute walk of a local park!
