Construction of the $1.2 billion Merrifield Business Park in Melbourne’s north will commence in the next three months.
The business park is part of the Merrifield project, a joint venture between Melbourne-based MAB Corporation and Gibson Property Corporation that will gradually transform 770-hectares into a commercial, residential and industrial precinct.
The business park in the 770-hectare Merrifield project on Melbourne’s northern outskirts next to Donnybrook Road and the Hume Freeway was launched on Wednesday by Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and Planning Minister Richard Wynne. The 330-hectare park has 1.2 million square metres of industrial and commercial floor space.
The Merrifield Project, which includes the business park, is a joint venture between Melbourne-based MAB Corporation and Gibson Property Corporation, and will create 25,000 direct jobs in Melbourne’s north.
