The Merrifield community is invited to come together for a meaningful and creative ANZAC Day activity, helping to create a special Poppy Craft Display in the lead-up to this special day.

On Monday 20 April, community members of all ages are welcome to visit the Mickleham North Community Centre and take part in crafting poppies that will form a collective display of remembrance. The activity offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and honour the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country, while connecting with neighbours and friends.

All materials will be provided on the day, and no prior experience is required — just a willingness to contribute to a shared moment of remembrance. The completed poppy display will stand as a tribute created by the community.
