Community Centre opens end 2021!

Located next door to Gaayip-Yagila primary school, the community centre is well and truly on schedule to open end 2021!

The $12.9 million multipurpose facility will provide a range of services from maternal health and child health services, community meeting spaces to preschool and learning spaces.

Construction has begun and Hume City Council plans to deliver the community centre in stages.

A modular Kindergarten facility has already been delivered onsite that opened on the 15 Feb 2021, that has capacity for 66 four year old preschool children. In Term 2 this modular facility will have capacity for an additional 33 children, as well as one group of 3 year old kindergarten with a capacity of 22 children.
