My Voice. Merrifield Community Survey.

The Merrifield community survey will be delivered to your homes on 29th and 30th April 2023. We look forward to hearing what our residents have to say!

If you have not received your copy please email us on community@merrifieldmelbourne.com.au and a copy will be mailed out to you ASAP.

We highly encourage you to complete the survey to provide your feedback and help plan for your future in Merrifield. You can go into the draw to win one of three $500 Visa vouchers. Completed surveys and entry forms can be returned via the reply paid envelopes or placed in the box at the Merrifield Sales Centre by 28 May 2023.

The Merrifield Community Survey helps us, as the developer, plan for your future. It provides critical data and information to help inform conversations with Government and other authorities that deliver services and infrastructure.

Applications for the Merrifield Student Scholarship Program are now open!

Merrifield Corporation is proud to announce its sponsorship agreement with GOTAFE, designed to help provide the Merrifield community with better access to skills training and education opportunities close to home.

Lifelong learning is a key pillar of the Merrifield community and we have always been committed to ensuring the timely delivery of education, training and career pathways in Merrifield. Our strategic partnership with GOTAFE presents an excellent learning platform for both local residents and businesses.

We are thrilled to announce the first initiative within our sponsorship agreement with GOTAFE is the Merrifield Student Scholarship Program, which provides eligible Merrifield residents with individual student sponsorships of up to $2,000* scholarship fee paid towards eligible qualifications, including supporting equipment or clothing, for those currently studying or planning to study at GOTAFE – either in person or online – in Semester 2 this year.

GOTAFE Mobile Campus is Coming to Merrifield

GOTAFE Mobile Campus is coming to Merrifield City on Monday 1 May – 3 May 2023!

The mobile campus is fully accessible and features a client reception area, private career counselling space, workshop and seminar space and a community computer lab.

Workshops will cover a range of topics including resume writing, job interview tips and free TAFE information sessions.

 
Free TAFE sessions every day at 2pm!
Free workshops every day at 10am – 4pm
Monday: Deciding to apply
Tuesday: Getting to interview
Wednesday: Resume writing

Sod has turned to commence construction at 21 Cityside Drive

We recently marked the commencement of construction of a new commercial hub at Merrifield City with an official sod-turning.

The next stage of development at Merrifield City includes ’21 Cityside Drive’ – a 4-level commercial/mixed-use building (due for completion in Q3 2024) that will attract businesses looking for modern office space closer to home, along with the delivery of a Swim School (opening March 2024).

21 Cityside Drive will also incorporate a childcare facility, medical suites, gym and commercial offices, positioned alongside the existing shopping centre, cafés and restaurants. 21 Cityside Drive is designed by NH Architecture, drawing upon inspiration from the surrounding natural environment to create a 100 per cent electric building with an abundance of natural light to the high-end sustainable offices.

With a commitment to a truly integrated mixed-use precinct, this building is the latest milestone in the planned evolution of Merrifield City, with our joint venture partner QIC. We’d like to thank Hume City Mayor, Cr Joseph Haweil and Becon Constructions for their support to this significant development and attendance on the day.
