EPBC Referral 2022/9150– Notice for Public Information

Aitken Boulevard road construction, Mickleham, Victoria

The following notice is published pursuant to Section 95B(4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

The Trustee for ARB Rosedust Trust & the Trustee for MRB Rosedust Trust & the Trustee for the Lyndust Trust (Proponents) propose to construct an approximate 1.65 kilometre section of principal road network (known as ‘E14’) within the Aitken Boulevard road reserve in Mickleham, Victoria. On 18 January 2022, the proposed action was referred to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water under reference EPBC 2022/9150. On 6 April 2022, the proposed action was determined to be a “controlled action” and that it will be assessed by Preliminary Documentation.

The Preliminary Documentation for the proposed action was published for public comment between Monday 11 December 2023 and Friday 22 December 2023, pursuant to Section 95A(3) of the EPBC Act and no comments were received.

The final Preliminary Documentation relating to the proposed action is available for viewing of a period of 10 business days from Monday 22 January 2024 to Friday 2 February 2024 at the following locations:

• Hume City Council office, 1079 Pascoe Vale Road, Broadmeadows
• The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Acton office, 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne
