Merrifield Recreation Reserve
The 9.5 hectare Merrifield Recreation Reserve has been created to provide a focal point for health and recreation within the community and features two AFL/cricket ovals, six tennis courts, pavilion buildings, half basketball/netball court, skate park, playgrounds and a 5,000 square metre off-leash dog park!
Our community survey data tells us that 1 in 2 Merrifield households own a dog – so we have worked closely with Hume City Council and Member for Yuroke The Hon. Ros Spence over many years to help deliver this incredible dog park in the heart of Merrifield.
We have curated an area for the community to engage – be it through sport and recreation, play, relaxation … or pets! We are proud to have delivered a carefully considered and well-designed space that caters for a wide variety of users and importantly responds to local community needs.
